Sam Rittenberg lives and works in New York City and the Dominican Republic. His primary interest is in a photograph's power to reveal the infinite and paradoxical interplay of destruction and creation. He is guided by the idea that every picture has the potential to be a portal to that which is ordinarily beyond us.
